Inlaid in brass with a sterling silver post these earrings are hand carved from shell.  The Abalone shell from New Zealand is typically a beautiful mix of purple, green, blue and pink. Due to the natural characteristics of the shell used to carve these earrings, some variations in color may occur.  The 18ga sterling silver posts fit standard sized pierced ears and will come with a pair of earring backings.
